The updated retail concept features:
• Increased focus on luxury watch brands through a relaxed, inclusive and experiential in-store environment that reinforces Goldsmiths’ position as the leading destination for luxury watch and jewellery enthusiasts
• Dedicated areas for Rolex, OMEGA, Breitling and Tudor
• Luxury watch brands Longines, Rado, Tissot, Oris and Gucci
• Jewellery from designers such as Roberto Coin, Maria Tash, Suzanne Kalen, Gucci and Jenny Packman.
• A bar and seating areas, where customers can relax and enjoy the hospitality.
The new showroom houses a vast collection of luxury Swiss watches that you will have the chance to experience, such as the OMEGA Seamaster, crafted from 18k Sedna™ gold with a polished blue ceramic bezel with a Ceragold™ diving scale and embraces the ocean heritage of OMEGA while also displaying feats in innovation and design. Also on display is the Breitling Chronomat 42mm watch, which features an 18k rose gold with anthracite dial and is matched with a black rubber strap.
The showroom also features Goldsmiths own Exclusive Brightest Diamond featuring its very own proprietary stone cut. This Goldsmiths’ stone has 88 facets – 30 more than a standard stone, which it has used in three wonderfully romantic engagement ring collections as well as eternity rings, earrings and necklaces. Thanks to the additional facets, cut into an innovative pattern unique to Goldsmiths, brilliance, fire, and scintillation are all amped up in these stones, infusing a superior sparkle; and each piece comes with its own certificate.
With a luxurious and modern retail environment that embraces more of a lifestyle-led, relaxed shopping experience Goldsmiths’ Leicester showroom features a whole new interior design concept and an exceptional showcase of luxury timepieces from the most prestigious brands in Swiss watchmaking alongside world-renowned fine jewellery brands.
The new calming, yet dynamic space was conceived in partnership with the award-winning UK-based design collective Quadrant Design. Light uncluttered, open spaces in a monochrome palette of luxurious materials such as white-washed oak timber, white terrazzo and blackened steel, have been combined with visual architectural forms that include repeating vertical lines and soft curves inspired by the Goldsmiths logo, to perfectly combine contemporary luxury design with a relaxed atmosphere.
