William Wood Watches was founded by Jonny Garrett, the grandson of a British firefighter, who was inspired by his grandfather’s bravery and dedication to serve others. The brand’s watches are made from upcycled firefighter materials, including brass from 100-year-old British firefighter helmets, and hose used by fire departments around the world.

William Wood Watches has several key watch collections, each with its own unique features and design elements. Here is some insight into what will be available:
The Triumph Collection is a prestigious chronograph range inspired by the brand’s deep firefighting heritage. Featuring dials from a fire engine dashboard, fire pump gauge hands, brass chronograph pusher buttons made from a 100-year-old firefighter's helmet, and a caseback inspired by a fire alarm. The beating heart of the watch is a Swiss-Made Sellita SW510 movement with a 6pm date window, 30-minute sub dial and 60 second sub dial.
The Valiant Collection is inspired by the bravery and dedication of firefighters, and each watch is named after a different firefighter shift pattern. The Valiant collection is a 3-hand automatic diving watch with a clean aesthetic, sandwich dial and double domed sapphire crystal glass. Available with either a stainless steel or bronze case and compatible with all the fire hose strap colours or a stainless-steel bracelet.
The Watches of Switzerland Group will retail all the collections online in the UK (Goldsmiths.co.uk, Mappin&Webb.com and Watches-of-Switzerland.co.uk) from Monday 29th May. The timepieces range between £520.00 - £2,525.00.
