In September 2020 the Knightsbridge flagship welcomed the addition of the impressive new Rolex Showroom which welcomes clients to a contemporary interior of fusing rich tones of walnut, leather, marble and striated limestone with the internationally identifiable Rolex green. The showroom provides a luxurious environment for Watches of Switzerland clientele to view an extensive and carefully curated range of timepieces in the Rolex Collection.
The latest updates to the flagship include additional Jaeger-LeCoultre and Cartier shop-in-shops on the ground floor, and Breguet and Ulysse Nardin on the first floor.
The flagship showroom will also house a calendar of horological highlights including an exhibition of 23 special edition Tourbillon watches from Breguet, Ulysse Nardin, Girard Perreguax, Speake Marine and Cyrus. A tribute to the finest in horological expertise and craftsmanship, the mesmerising movement of a Tourbillon mechanism is regarded as an ultra complicated mark of excellence and the finest in accuracy and precision. Breguet originally created the Tourbillon (French for ‘whirlwind’) movement in c.1795, to thwart the negative affect of gravity in pocket watch mechanisms. Today it is widely appreciated as one of the most beautiful and enchanting expressions of Swiss watchmaking know-how.
The not-to-be missed exhibition reinforces Watches of Switzerland’s reputation for offering watch enthusiasts unrivalled access to the world’s best luxury Swiss timepieces.
In addition, there will be a Bovet pop up space from opening until the end of January 2021.
"We are delighted to continue to strengthen our retail offering and look forward to welcoming our clients back to the luxurious surroundings of our newly refurbished Knightsbridge flagship showroom."
