For more than a decade, the Watches of Switzerland Group has supported The King’s Trust through a long-standing collaboration rooted in shared values: helping young people build confidence, develop skills, and unlock brighter futures. Since the partnership began in 2013, the Group has helped strengthen the Trust’s work to create opportunities for young people facing barriers to education, employment, and training, while championing the long-term impact that meaningful support can have over time.

As part of this year’s celebration, the Watches of Switzerland Group is proud to sponsor the Young Change Maker Award, recognising an exceptional young person who has made a positive difference to others and their community. Shauna, a trained accredited play therapist and founder of Lighthouse Therapy Hub, was named this year’s winner, recognised for turning her own experience of entering the care system as a child into her own business. Shauna has supported over 400 families, helping them gain access to therapy and holistic approaches to mental health.
The Group’s commitment also extends to one of the most symbolic elements of the evening: the Awards trophies themselves. For 13 consecutive years the trophies have been meticulously crafted at Mappin & Webb’s Silver Workshop, with each piece designed in the traditional form of an apprenticeship bowl, handmade with intricate detail and showcasing exceptional silversmithing craftsmanship.

In honour of The King’s Trust’s 50th anniversary, each trophy has been specially gold-plated to mark the significant milestone. The commemorative design was created to celebrate both the heritage of the Trust and the achievements of the young people being recognised, while reflecting the Watches of Switzerland Group’s appreciation for craftsmanship, artistry, and enduring excellence.
"We are incredibly proud to mark 13 years of partnership with The King’s Trust and to support its 50th anniversary celebration. Over that time, we have seen the powerful difference the Trust makes in helping young people build confidence, develop skills, and create brighter futures. We are also honoured that, for the 13th consecutive year, the award trophies have been handcrafted by our Silver Workshop, with this year’s gold-plated trophies providing a fitting tribute to such a significant milestone."
