Watches of Switzerland has debuted a new boutique at the just opened Encore Boston Harbor. Designed by New York-based architecture firm MNA, the aesthetic of the boutique follows the Watches of Switzerland global retail concept - minimalist, yet luxuriously appointed. The storefront is clad in Spanish marble and the interior is lined in a zebra grass wall covering with white oak trim and wall board. The space features dedicated areas for Hublot and Panerai, as well as a private consultation room for VIP clients. Standalone boutiques for Omega and IWC, that Watches of Switzerland will operate, are located just next- door and accessed through an entry vestibule that will highlight emerging and artisanal watch brands. For the opening, these include offerings from Franck Muller, Ressence, Bovet, and Jacob & Co. that range in price from $2,500 to $340,000. Jacob & Co. will also showcase a small selection of exceptional jewelry.
Encore Boston Harbor is the second Wynn Resorts collaboration for Watches of Switzerland. It opened a boutique in the Esplanade at Wynn Las Vegas in December 2018. This new 3 million- square-foot Encore casino-resort is located just across the Mystic River from the city of Boston and is in close proximity to Logan International Airport. It is expected to attract national and international guests, as well as a local Boston clientele. The expansive property is opulently appointed with, red venetian glass chandeliers, an iconic floral carousel and a curated selection of world-class art throughout, including Popeye, by Jeff Koons and Jaume Pensa’s 10-foot stainless steel sculpture portraits along the Harborwalk. The Watches of Switzerland boutique occupies a premium position aside the casino entrance and is expected to be a major shopping destination for guests.

Opening at Encore Boston Harbor is a key component of Watches of Switzerland’s strategic US expansion plan that in addition to Las Vegas includes two flagship Manhattan boutiques, one in SoHo and the other at Hudson Yards. Watches of Switzerland plans to open in the new American Dream shopping complex in the New Jersey, Meadowlands later this year.
